On the other side of the A264 from my house is Neville Park, a private road overlooking the park itself. The top floor of these large mansions benefit from a view on to a pastoral scene of privately owned park land sandwiched between Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells Commons. The horizontal lines reflect divisions of wealth in modern British society reversing the pastoral point of view, presenting street-level images of boundaries and borders of social segregation.
